06 Dec Research Call for Participants – Adults with Dyslexia
The Open Doors Initiative (https://www.opendoorsinitiative.ie/) and Employers for Change (https://www.employersforchange.ie/) are carrying out research with IT Sligo on best practices in recruitment and employment to develop an Inclusive Recruitment Toolkit for employers.
As part of the research, they want to interview a variety of people including some with dyslexia to hear your experience of searching for employment, the interview process and any barriers faced during both. The purpose of the research is to find out what you think about current recruitment practices, what you like and don’t like about them, what is useful and what are areas of improvement that can be made.
They will hold the first focus group on this topic at 2pm, December 15th 2021 on Microsoft Teams online.
